I'm not really sure why I have started this mediation blog. It might be to share the calmness, the bliss, the humour or the warmth I get from my morning mediation, or it might be just a place I can record some of my own thoughts and experiences that come for 40 years of meditation.

Meditating with the Dog 2
It is not unusual to be sitting on my zafu meditating and my dog Angel will push he head against me, her way of asking for some affection. One time she licked my face and it confused me, is this ruining my morning meditation or is this Nirvana?
